Here they are: my sweethearts. We live in the Hudson Valley of New York state and are always looking for a good meal.
I believe that every plate of food has a story to tell. We’ve been photographing and writing about food for a few years now, and it’s all on my Times Union blog, Table for 5. Paul takes most of my pictures. If he’s not around, then Zoe and I have to try our best. Ours never turn out as pretty as his.
Our best meals are eaten after a day out hiking with Agnes (she’s the black furry one up there with Lucy) or a beautiful day of skiing. There are also the special meals made for friends. And dinners eaten in our favorite restaurants. We love them all.
Without naming any names, I’ll tell you that there are great eaters in this house. And not-so-great eaters. Meat eaters and vegetarians. We gather every evening, sometimes for a fresh piece of fish with plenty of veggies from the farmers market. Other nights it’s grilled cheese and ketchup. Yup, ketchup.
